This Shift Kit allows you to modify your transmission to fix the common complaints such as TCC slip or shudder, 2nd gear band and direct clutch failure, and torque converter drain-back.nnThis kit gives you the internal components so your transmission can operate at higher pressures. As a result, the max line pressure in 1st,2nd,3rd, can be set to 125 PSI, and up to 150PSI in lock-up or 4th gear. These line pressure increases provide you with a significant increase in torque capacity for all of the friction elements including the TCC clutch.nnElevated line pressures are ideal for performance built and heavy-duty work trucks. Once installed the shift timing remains at the OE RPM, but are shorter and crisp wit no harshness or banging. Each kit also includes a TransGo manual valve to reduce torque converter drain back to eliminate overnight forward and reverse delay.
